    invigilating an exam
    Hi,
I have heard of people earning extra bits of money through exam invigilating, has anybody ever done anything like it and would you be willing to advise as to how to go about finding such jobs?

should i just email schools and ask about it?
    Or do they specifically advertise.

Whilst people may say just offer myself as a volunteer, i'm not really going to get anything out of it, as its just walking up and down a silent room, and so preferably i would like to be in the position to earn some money whilst doing it.

Any tips and advise would be greatly appreciated!

My local schools advertise on websites and job boards. I've specifically seen them on council websites and on the job seekers website.

Education recruitment agencies are the main suppliers of Exam Invigilators. Contact agencies such as Randstad, Protocol or Reed Education for more details. You can earn about 7.50 an hour doing this sort of work.
