have to point something out: I know a fair few 'vegetarians' who won't eat meat out of cruelty but will eat fish. Fish suffocate rather than being stunned and painlessly killed. Suffocation has been proven to be the most painful way to die so morally how do veggies justify this?
actually if you are a proper veggie then you would not eat fish at all, therefore they cant justify it

I am vegetarian (aka I don't eat meat, fish or anything containing animal products), but I do eat milk, cheese and eggs. Slowly cutting out a bit of dairy though, I'd like to be vegan one day, but I'm not sure if I'll ever manage it.

I think the topic is relevant inasmuch as lots of vegetarians/vegans have a perceived moral objection to eating animal products.
