Do most people go to Uni straight after A2?

I think it's pretty hard to give an exact answer to this - generally I think people go to Uni straight from A Levels, but then again a lot of people decide on gap years.
It all depends on the person and what they want to do
Then again, the government played a big part in that decision last year when everyone tried to dodge the higher fees

Re: Do most people go to Uni straight after A2?In both my sixth form (I left in 2010) and my flat in halls (I started in 2011), it's about a 50/50 split. However,
a) Both my school and my university tend to attract a fairly middle class cohort, so it's not really a representative sample.
b) Last year was exceptional, because even those people who wanted to take a gap year ended up being forced to go straight to uni by the higher fees.
