I've made a huge mistake and applied to study psychology but I've decided that it's not really for me as my A2 lessons bore me and I find it quite difficult. (I know it's different at uni but still..) The problem is, I have already confirmed my firm and insurance uni's. I'd like to study criminology/sociology somewhere else but think it might be too late
Does anyone know if it is possible to get my firm and insurance to reject my application then apply elsewhere through Extra or do I have to wait and go in to clearing?
Any help would be appreciated as I hate the thought of not knowing where I'm going to be/what I'm going to be doing in September!!

Best off contacting UCAS. I'm sure it's possible to do but it's going to be a ballache essentially and do bare in mind, that there's always the chance you won't get a place through Clearing and will have to wait until 2013 but no point doing a course you're not interested in

You can't go into Extra after you've replied to your choices and picked a firm and insurance - unless it's within 7 days and then you may be able to. However, you can ask the choices to reject you and from there you'll be able to use Clearing.
