Potential employer got BASIC info wrong!...
So I applied for some work experience a month ago, last week I recieved an email which was written to me but had the wrong name and gender. I then emailed him back saying my name is MR ' Bla bla ', Few days ago I recieved an email with correct name but gender still as Ms. I do have a unisex name, but i dont think this is still professional, even though I mentioned on the cv that i am a keen sports man. What you guys think of this? Im I overreacting abit or?

    Cheers

You are over-reacting. People make mistakes.

    Adults aren't infallible.

In fact they can be worse than students, since students have a drive to impress their superiors, whereas adults couldn't care less and just want to get it done.

If they're employing you, write again and tell them your gender? Could get pretty confusing later on when they've thought you were female for ~4 months..

If they're rejecting you, ignore them and just think dismissive thoughts about them
