Re: Official AS/A Levels Thread/Results Day Thread 2012! (16th August 2012)Haha, I remember when I was nearly 18. I was like 'Yaaaaaay, I can buy drink'. Been 18 since April, still not bought anything!(Original post by madders94)
8 days until my birthday and I can legally do what I was doing when I was 15 (drink, that is, not appear in porn
)

Same! I was 18 in march but like you haven't bought any(Original post by Gales)

I am. It's probable that If I were to open my results at school and realise I hadn't got in my firm, I'd cry. Better to do it at home...

Ah I was saying you had been learning or passed test!(Original post by wibletg)

I've been having little practice sessions on private land but cba to actually start learning when I'm not even going to get a car until after university and my boyfriend drives a convertible so I could never compete

Re: Official AS/A Levels Thread/Results Day Thread 2012! (16th August 2012)Not valid any more. It ran out like two months after I went to Madrid in 2010 and couldn't be bothered to renew it, it's like £70 or something ridiculous like that. I'll renew it if I ever want to go abroad again which I know I will, just can't afford it right now(Original post by Jack22031994)

Re: Official AS/A Levels Thread/Results Day Thread 2012! (16th August 2012)As irritating as this is... just think, your insurance costs will be dropping just for holding the licence.(Original post by Jack22031994)

I know this isn't much consolation when you have to look at your full licence every time you get money out to get on the bus but it's better than nothing
