Stress and white hairs
So, I'm only 18 but in the last year or two I've found about 5 partially white hairs. I know it's not a huge amount but it really freaks me out and yes, some people go grey really young but both my parents are in their late forties and have very, very few white hairs.
Anyway, I got to thinking about it and one thing I noticed was that a couple of these hairs were a normal colour at the ends, normal at the roots and just had a couple of inches of white/very light hair in the middle. I traced back to that time and it was over a period of time when I was extremely stressed/depressed. None of the hairs were fully white, it was always just a section, so do you think stress is a contributing factor? I'm not very worried about it or anything but it would seem extremely unfair if I started going white before my parents!
Has anyone else experienced this?
