Few questions (Edexcel AS Govt+Politics
In Unit 1:
1) I was told for unit 2 to include as much on the coalition as possible, is this applicable for unit 1 as well?
2) Also for examples, for unit 2 we are told only to include ones relating to UK, is this the case for unit 1 as for some points i struggle to find examples that are for Uk, but for example you can say Germany has always had a coalition which has in large been succesful
3) If asked to for example define direct democracy, should you define democracy by itself briefly then list the ponits for direct democracy?
Thanks in advance! -

It's been a while since you posted and nobody's replied yet...maybe you should check out MarkedbyTeachers.com, TSR's sister site. It has the largest library of essays in the UK.
They've got over 181,000+ coursework, essays, homeworks etc.. all written by GCSE, A Level, University and IB students across all topics. You get access either by publishing some of your own work, or paying £4.99 for a month's access. Both ways give you unlimited access to all of the essays.
All their documents are submitted to Turnitin anti-plagiarism software, so it can't be misused, and the site's used by hundreds of thousands of UK teachers and students.
What's more, you can take a look around the site and preview the work absolutely free. Click here to find out more... -

2) you'd be fine using that example, so long as you can link that back to the UK and make sure it's relevant; it's a good example! You can also use countries other than the UK to illustrate other points when it's about implementing new changes into the UK, such as compulsory voting or electoral change. A really up to date example against coalitions could be the problems between ideals in Greece making it difficult.
3) You can do yes, such as the literal meaning of "democracy" and then make a few good points about direct democracy using examples if you can.
Hope that helps
