More conservative/traditional in outlooks.
In terms of schooling there a far fewer ethnic minorities. Eg. In my primary school I had 1 korean kid and that was it
Lifestyle is the same really, only major difference I can think of nowadays is the occasional sectarian acts of violence and the over reliance on public sector jobs (loads and loads and loads of teachers lol) -

I do remember hearing on the radio once that we had the greatest number of BMWs per head outside Germany...
