Is Northern Ireland a lot different then the rest of the UK ?

In terms of schooling there a far fewer ethnic minorities. Eg. In my primary school I had 1 korean kid and that was it
Lifestyle is the same really, only major difference I can think of nowadays is the occasional sectarian acts of violence and the over reliance on public sector jobs (loads and loads and loads of teachers lol) -

I do remember hearing on the radio once that we had the greatest number of BMWs per head outside Germany... -

Re: Is Northern Ireland a lot different then the rest of the UK ?it's pretty similar to the rest of the UK. Worth a visit if you're planning on staying in the UK but want to try something a little further afield, but you won't see anything too different to what you can see in England
