Re: Can you get into medicine?
You'd have to have something outstanding. Candidates you're up again will have full sets of As and A stars, as well as outstanding A levels.
You'd be best looking at each university's minimum requirements when you apply as your GCSEs will severely limit your choices. -
Re: Can you get into medicine?different med schools have different requirements.. you'd be safer avoiding med schools such as Birmingham and Kings College London who prefer at least 7/8A*s at GCSE, but there are other med schools that don't put as much emphasis on GCSE grades, but do say you must have a B in maths/eng lang etc. at the end of the day, your personal statement is super important too, and how you can relate your experiences to a career in medicine. also, performance during interviews(Original post by pourya)
So..if you have bad GCSE's like: 1 A and the rest B's for example...
and you get AAA in Alevel..can you still get accepted into medicine? or would they not let you because of your GCSE's ??
thanks
