    am I overreacting?
    hello all,
basically, I refused my lunch because my brothers got a greater serving. They always do. If there is not enough of something, say meat, they get it and I have to go without it.
I got insulted and shouted at for 'such a petty thing' and everyone said I was wrong.
I know men eat more than women, but I don't see them getting greater portions anywhere. People serve themselves if they have not had enough.
So when one member of my family went to buy fast food, I was not given anything because of my jealous behaviour.

Refused lunch where? Surely instead of refusing, you could have just asked for more?

In my hall the girls get smaller portions than the guys and they often do not even finish it. Whereas more guys finish their bigger portions.

Waste not want not, there's a war on don't you know

Edit: we are talking about hall catering right?

basically, by my family. Thing is we came in late and it was nearly finished, so I was given a lesser portion than my brother! It ALWAYS happens.

You refusing food was stupid, but so was their reaction of not buying you food later...
Although i do think it unfair if they always get larger portions, food should be shared equally where possible

no, home. I was refused now dinner because I complained about my brothers deliberately getting a bigger serving.
    I hate them.

    Lets look at this logically.

How much exercise do you do compared to your brother?
    How taller is he?
Is he at a "growing boy" stage?

Well, if you were going to eat it all then you deserve more. My sister asks for more all the time but never finishes it, so it is a waste.

we are both skinny and of the same age range (2 years difference). We do not exercise. Anyhow, this attitude extends to all spheres of life.
