Statistics question" Suppose that on a given weekend, the number of accidents has a Poisson distr. with mean.7

    a. What is the probability that there will be a single accident at the intersection this weekend?
    b. What is the probability that there will be at least three accidents at the intersection during th weekend?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    a) Find the probability that X=1 using the poisson formula. (Or you could use the tables but that would be harder)
    b) P(X>= 3) - do this one using the tables, otherwise you will end up using your calculator a lot more than necessary.
