Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Re: Did the surgeon in The Human Centipede have a mental illness?
The director, Tom Six, is more likely to suffer from mental illness.
Actually I kind of applaud him for making trashy, artless films like this in the way I like how Tommy Wiseau made The Room. It's hard to take anything so vile in a serious way.Last edited by Olifromsolly; 11-05-2012 at 17:45. -
Re: Did the surgeon in The Human Centipede have a mental illness?
I don't think they really thought the plot out that much.
If it were to happen in real life then yes the person would have to have something wrong with them. In this case however I think they were more concerned with the idea of grossing people out by stitching asses to faces rather than the actual psychology of the man doing it.Last edited by Craig_D; 13-05-2012 at 21:34. -

Bloody looks like it. I watched some on Syfy and got to the bit where
Spoiler:ShowThe less stupid girl tried to escape and was dragging her friend across the lawn only to be caught. Some shots of her butt operation (EW) and then that was it
