Re: "I'd rather spend my student loan on clothes and not eat"Lol, is that a dig I spy? Choosing whether to have clothes on your back or eat food is ridiculous, the sensible person would just budget for both. Unlike politics, where it really is a case of either/or.(Original post by milesofsea)
No one agrees entirely with Labour or the Tories, voting is stupid. -
Re: "I'd rather spend my student loan on clothes and not eat"And unlike reality, this is a hypothetical situation on a forum on the internet where you can ask people what they would do if they had to, like politics, pick one or the other without entirely agreeing with the manifesto.(Original post by dulciemae)

Detach yourself from the examples. You are neither of them, neither of them is me, no one is actually asking you to become one or the other. From an OBJECTIVE and inconsequential point of view, which one do you approve of more? -
Re: "I'd rather spend my student loan on clothes and not eat"And as you said, this is a forum on the internet, not a strict exam or indeed reality and therefore I can answer however I please. Furthermore, the subject is pointless. No one I know spends their entire student loan on clothes, and if they did, they'd be an idiot and that's as far as the matter should go. If you displayed a more convincing argument for either side I would then be more lenient to choose one but quite frankly, you (or the quotations/viewpoints you showed) didn't. I didn't realise that it was be all and end all of life to answer this so-called 'question.'(Original post by milesofsea)

Please don't tell me how I should answer to a thread, it's my opinion and that is what I am here to state. Therefore if I want to disagree with the question itself or think of a new answer entirely, I will.

No, I'm too busy forging a future through hard work and laughing at morons who fret over such trivial things.
The world has fallen far if Facebook photos and gossip is now considered an exciting part of people's lives.

Re: "I'd rather spend my student loan on clothes and not eat"
A bit of both. I spend about £20 a week on food which leaves me like £30 to do what I like with.
You can't take it with you, so why not spend it? (Also I'm not the most aesthetically pleasing person around so clothes/shoes/make up are kind of a necessity for me). -
