Kingston or Winchester - Primary Ed
    Hello

I've finally got my offer today from Winchester but I'm really undecided on whether to go there or Kingston. I've been accepted on a Primary Ed course for both and really like the sound of both unis but for completley different reasons.

Has anyone who has been to either uni's give me any advice?

    Thanks!

    Hey,
I got offers from both Kingston and Winchester and had to choose between the two for my insurance choice and chose Winchester in the end. I went to both of them for the open days and interview days and personally I think for the night life Kingston looks better as Winchester is a very small and quiet place, but Winchester is close to Southampton and still has a few night clubs around including the one on site. I think both courses sounded good aswell although I liked the idea with Winchester that we don't have to choose our specialism till the second year so gives us more time to decide and it also has more choice in specialisms, in comparison with Kingston. Something I really didn't like with Kingston was that the campus that we would be on for teaching is very small as there are about 4-5 and would have liked to be on the main campus where more is going on. With Winchester it is all in one but is a very small uni with a higher percentage of boys than girls haha. There were good and bad things about both, and Winchester is close to where I live so this was another factor that helped make my decision. If I went to Kingston I don't think I would of hated it there it didn't look like a bad uni at all and was 5th on the Guardian for education Hope this helps xxx
