Well that Twitter account is clearly not official.

Personally...I despise what Thatcher did to Scotland and places like Liverpool.

I don't plan on celebrating if this is true - she was an awful women IMO but she was not Hitler or Pol Pot.

How do you feel about celebrating the (potential) death of an elderly woman with dementia?

Regardless of how unpopular she was when she was in office over 20 years ago, the death of a person is nothing to celebrate.
    Agreed, most definitely.

i didn't agree with her all policies but at least Thatcher was a strong decisive leader who drove the country forward even if everyone did not agree with her. She provided strength and leadership when the country was in a complete mess. If only one of today's tory's lib dems and labour were half as good we may have some form of effective leadership.

I don't think it's true, sorry to burst the bubble. That Twitter account isn't official - it's not even been verified. A quick Google search for "Carla Bruni official Twitter" reveals this, and it also has the blue verification tick.

I hope this is not true, she was truly a visionary leader who took the UK from the shackles of socialism and trade union militancy and took the UK down a far better path.
How old are you? 21, 22? You would not have lived through the Thatcher years. Had you done so, your views on Thatcher would probably not be the same as they are here now.

I understand what you're saying but she'll have to die some day, even if today is not that day.
