Forgive me for not particularly wanting strangers knowing how to put me in "crippling pain".

The bloke makes the ridiculous statement that the more you know about "lethal application of violence" the less violent you become. How did he contrive that one?
A smaller scale version of mutually assured destruction perhaps?

You put a shoulder strike above a punch?
Agreed that shoulder strikes are basically useless but punches are overrated. People who I know who get into fights always come out with broken knuckles or damaged hands from punching.

just when you think its impossible for britain to become more absurd it goes and does this.

britain, for all intents and purposes, has an open border immigration system and thousands of foreign criminals are convicted of violent crime every year.

banning a self defence expert in the circumstances is simply beyond parody.

You ever been close to someone and you couldn't swing your fist and the guy is within half a second of smashing his fist into your face?

Shoulders are really good as they are close to your centre of gravity, you can get enormous force through your legs and into your shoulders aswell.

Most often than not the guy will end up on his arse or a few feet backwards.
