Meh, I love chubbier girls normally but I don't think you're too thin, you have a lovely shape.

I wanted to know what people thought of it, and what they thought my weight was.

People are always against girls eating too little and being underweight, but then when I was like that I got so many compliments about how thin I was. I got told "wow, you look amazing" and then also "you look like you're going to snap". So, you know. It's confusing.
You should just do what you want, don't worry about what people think/say. You won't be happy if you do that. Don't starve yourself to look better, but at the same time there is not reason to force yourself to gain weight because people nag you about it.

Some people are naturally thin. My ex used to eat tons (like 6 doghnuts for brekkie, an entire pizza for lunch, pasta carbonara for tea), and he is like a stick. But if you are denying yourself food all the time so you can look a certain way - that can be unhealthy and make you unhappy.

I wasn't starving myself. I just had 1200 calories or less (usually 900-1100) per day for quite a long time, and exercised a lot.

I'm really just doing this to see what people think of it, because as I said I got a lot of mixed messages. I lost like, 2 stone and nobody really expressed any worry.

My BMI was 16.5 in that picture, went down to 15.9, and is 18.1 now. And people are saying that it looked fine, not too 'thin thin', healthy. I know BMI isn't really something to go by, but still.

    This is from slightly lower:

It would be better if you posted a pic of how you look now so that it can be compared with the old one. I'm guessing you probably will look better now though.

You can tell from the size of her legs that she's too thin. She (you) looks ill.

BMI is a pretty valid approximation of whether your weight is healthy. Your weight clearly isn't healthy in those pics where your BMI is so low. And 900-1100 calories a day is starving yourself, especially if you're exercising a lot too. Who are these people saying you looked good and healthy? Because I would bet on them being girls around your age with low self-esteem and a skewed self-image, and the people (rightly) telling you to gain are the sensible and objective adults. Who do you think has more knowledge on the subject, really? A doctor, or your friends?

If your periods stopped I think it's pretty obvious you were too thin.

Well, I don't have a camera with me (am at uni) but this is of me at the weight I am now from when I was dieting. I can't find a front-facing one.

Well, there kinda is a reason to force yourself to put on weight when people 'nag' you about it because you're becoming ill due to lack of food.

Some people on this thread said it looks fine, or 'a little thin'.
And I got compliments when I went out and stuff. Most were from guys actually.. they said i looked 'really thin' but they didn't seem to say it like it was a bad thing.

    I've already gained. I'm over 8st now.

And I never saw a doctor..

When I was 7st my mum told me she 'wouldn't like me to lose any more' but that I didn't need to gain (I asked her directly if she thought I needed to). She didn't know how much I weighed (I lied about that) so clearly thought I looked fine.

You look fine to me, skinny but not too much so, and in general guys tend to go for skinnier girls. Although I prefer my woman slightly chunkier.

I didn't think I was too thin now, far from it! I've gained a lot.

    But thank you.

(Are you really 114lbs at 6ft 2? How much do you eat?)
