    Hello!
Hi! I'm a newbie here (obviously). Thought I'd introduce myself .

I'm currently in my first year at the Open University, working towards a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

I'm a "mature student" - I left college 20 years ago, so this whole getting back into studying thing was quite daunting! On top of that, I was born, and educated, in the Netherlands - English isn't my first language.

I'm enjoying it, though . And as studying with the OU is, of course, less sociable than studying at a regular university, I think I'll enjoy the interaction on here!

    Re: Hello!
Thank you very much! I think I will .

And I agree! I'll finish my degree when I am in my 40s (I'm in my late 30s now), but I always wondered if I could do it and so far, so good!
