    Olympic Shifts - So Few!
    Hello!
I got my shifts through today for 'EVS' (Event Services based at the Olympic Stadium) and I'm only working for six days!

Just wondering if anyone else has received so few shifts? I'm a bit disappointed...all that effort for just six shifts!!

Lots have, The stadium is only used for 10 days, while the Basketball arena for 16 , Archery only for 2! Some have been offered another role to 'make' up their 10 shifts minimum, so maybe wait for more

Thanks for your reply on this, much appreciated!
I will probably wait for a bit and then chase up and try and get more shifts (wherever they may be).

    Cheers.

    Hi

Im based at the olympic stadium (EVS) too. Been rostered in for 10 days, 3 of which occur before the games start (23/25/27). You may get extra shifts come through as I know of people dropping out at this stage...

Also have you an idea what the difference is between

    Olympic stadium
    Olympic stadium - J

So excited now just need to find somewhere to stay....

Have you received your accreditation pass yet? (You get it when you collect your uniform). - I'm just wondering where you are getting the 'J' from?

On my pass it says, 'STA' for Olympic Stadium. It doesn't have any additional letters after it....
    Interesting!

Nice that you have 10 shifts though. I will definitely be trying to increase mine. I put down 20 days of volunteering.

    Hi there.

I am doing 10 days for EVS at Olympic Stadium. My rosta says Olympic Stadium for the 2 days prior to opening ceremony (these are rehearsals for the ceremony) and then Olympic Stadium-A for the rest of the games.

I guess I'll find out what it all means at VST on 1 July!

I was only given 4 days!
I'm at Eton Dorney for the Paralympics. The rowing is only there for those 4 days, so can't see me getting any more.

Some have been given more than one venue to bring up the number of shifts.
