Summer Temping/Working
Heya,
The same as many, I have failed to get a job at my University despite having many interviews etc. Now, I'm thinking I'm going to go home and temp/get a summer job in order to earn money over the holiday. I've signed up with Reed so hopefully I'll get lots of jobs through, but I have a feeling my lack of experience in both retail and admin may let me down. I have bar experience so I'm hoping to apply for restaurant-y type environments but that may clash with the job I already have back home (I am guaranteed no shifts at this place, hence why I want to get a more stable income whilst I'm at home).
I was just looking for advice and recommendations for how to make the best of being with a recruitment agency and how to make the best of summer jobs. Is it even worth doing?
Thanks!
(I'm from just outside Bath if anyone has any specific tips for the area) -
Re: Summer Temping/WorkingI'll try that, thanks!(Original post by inksplodge)
Have you tried casual work sites like 247recruit? I've never been with a recruitment agency but they seem to only advertise for manual labour and office jobs.
