University of Ulster, on campus and off campus accommodation
I have an offer for Biomedical engineering begining in september, I am currently looking at the accommodation. Does anybody know anything about the off campus accommodation at Glenwhirry and Glendun. And what is Dalriada like? Are the enhanced Dalriada rooms mostly postgraduate students?

I had an enhanced room in Dalriada last year, which was my first year. They're just bigger and have more space than the other rooms.

I think the enhanced are more for Postgraduate...and I think the only disadvantage of glenwhirry and glendun are that they are further away!

Re: University of Ulster, on campus and off campus accommodation
I went to the open day the University of Ulster in Jordanstown had yesterday and got to check out the DSV and the off campus accommodation. I have a few questions to students making use of the accommodation in these spots:

    1. How long does it take you from Glendun to get to the University if you are walking? From the taxi over to the place I was thinking to myself about 20 minutes, not sure how accurate this is.

    2. What are the ages of the people generally around the Glendun people? It is obviously cheaper but it looks a good bit more run down. I am 23 and worrying about being stuck with a rowdy bunch of first years since usually the cheaper price and area is what I think it would attract, however I could be wrong on this.

Just any feedback in general on people who live in either DSV or Glendun would be great, making up my mind where to apply to as top choice.
