Hi,

Im doing, as level geography, geographicial investigations exam (edexcel)
and im doing crowded coasts and rebranding

theres like just over two weeks till the exam and i REALLY need some help

i need to get a D and i was just wondering i theres any exam techniques anyone can give me? like how to answer the casestudy questions and the fieldwork/research questions!

if anyone can give me or knows where there are some model answers for these it would be a great help! ive looked at the markschemes but they've not really helped me

i'd be reallly greatful if someone could help me

You may find reading through the examiners reports useful for some do's and donts and parts of model answers.

i spent about 10 minutes on that question, it confused me so much!!

I wasn't sure and guessed that one. I think I said bacon and mushrooms. But it was a literal guess.

"ip dip doo doggy done a poo, chicken done..." that kind of guess.

I seriously don't know. This question isn't the only thing worrying me. I effed up the whole exam >.<

You've got another 40% to go, you can always study really hard for the Unit 2 and if you get good marks on that it can boost your grade!!

It's not completely impossible! It should just be revision notes & going over key facts and figures! Plus, you can prepare for the fieldwork and research section by writing down model answers or plans for an answer; what you did, results and conclusions or evaluation.

So you think I should read over the allan book take notes. after done with that focus on fieldwork and research and write answers? That's all I need to do to get an A? I have no notes from class or previous revision. I didn't attend classes.

I was just looking at the grade boundaries for last year actually! & obviously there's ums but in terms of the papers you only needed 49 marks for a D on unit 1 & 40 for unit 2! not too bad!

No crowded coasts and rebranding. I could say I'd be lucky to come out with a C
