Ah cool. I'm doing the exam also. I'll be doing Wuthering Heights, The Pardoner's Tale and Frankenstein.

Hey, I'm doing Pardoner's Tale too! I find it the easiest of my texts (doing White Devil and Bloody Chamber as well) because of the whole religion bit which it's alright arguing. How are you preparing for it?

    --

If anyone wants Pardoner's Tale, White Devil or Bloody Chamber exemplary essays, notes or articles then PM me!

Ah cool. Yeah The Pardoner's Tale is quite an easy text, though the same can't be said of the old language ha ha. What you doing to prepare for the Pardoner's? Do you want to exchange notes? What's the White Devil and Bloody Chamber like? Was intrigued of what they were about, shame we didn't get to do them. How you preparing for the other texts? Been making mindmaps of the key characters, themes, flashcards with the key terms on the front and the explanations on the back; making notes and finding top quotes for each text on some of the gothic elements. Hope it sinks in.

Yeah would love to exchange notes! I have a couple of exemplary essays if you're interested, PM me?

Sounds like you've done a lot! :O For each I've got flashcards, on the front is a key word of the quote and on the back the quote itself. And then making plans for past papers, I should be writing them out in full but they're an hour long each... Would be interested to see what you have for context for PT? I've got the whole fear of divine retribution, oral tradition/story telling, civil unrest, black death. What kind of things do you talk about?

Oh that's very good have similar things to that on context. What exemplary essay you found? You've done a fair bit yourself. If you were reading it from a feminist perspective then you have the 'gender usurpation of the Pardoner in the 'General Prologue' whether it could be said for the Pardoner to be female. Have you got that down? xx

The exemplary essays are a couple of mine which got full marks and then some which I found lurking on the internet

thing is with the gender thing is that they don't credit you quoting from the General Prologue since it's not the set text :rage: but yeah think it'd be good to note down just in case!
