Having a convo in the lift or not?
So I live in a flat block and there's this girl who's pretty nice.

I've only seen her in the bus stop but I know she lives in my flat block.

I'm on floor 1 and so she's probably in floor 2 and above so she'll take the lift

If I see her in the flat block on the way to the lift, do I

    A:
    Me: Hey
    Girl: Hi
    Me: You alright?
    Girl: Yeah fine thanks, you?
    Me: Yeah I'm good.

And that will probably be that, since I'm on floor 1 and it takes 5 secs to get there

or do I go for option B which is to not say anything at all but approach her at a different time.

I think there's no point talking to her for 5 secs, then me leaving

Say something if there's something to be said. Not "hi how are you."

If you're clever enough to already know her responses, you should be clever enough to know when to approach her...

    Kinky

OP, don't just ask her; "how are you?" Has that ever got you a girls number before?

    ...Not "how are you."

Try a compliment, perhaps? "Excuse me for asking, but whats that perfume your wearing, its lovely, but I can't place it..."

I have more faith in you than that, surely you can think of something?

Pretend you're on the phone and whisper to the person on the phone, but make sure she hears you.

"Heh, there's this really hot girl in the lift with me right now. How do I ask for her number?"

"No way! She'll get creeped out if I sing that."

And keeps rambling on a number of things to make her laugh. When she's about to leave the lift, take your phone off and say "No reward for making you laugh?"

Job done. I have personally tried this and it's worked... but turns out she's cheating on her boyfriend lol.

Forgot to add, it only works if the male is relatively good looking. If the female doesn't find you physically attractive, chances are she will be creeped out.

PS: Let me know which lift you'll be using in the future. :P
