Hi, I'm planning on going to the jesus collage open day this summer as well as the general cambridge one but my mum can only get time off to come to one. She wants to come with me to the one where she can find out most about student life, finance and accomodation rather than actual courses. I assume this would be the college specific open day but just thought I'd check before hand.

Also, I've been told that applying for a specific college would not hinder my chances of getting in, so I thought I might as well choose. Is this really the case?
