    I Need A History Person :)
    Hey guys

I would really appreciate it if somebody could quickly help me make sense of a question which I have to write a paper on! Here it is:

"Discuss the ways in which TWO of the films you have studied on this module engage either with historiographical or political processes in their depiction of past events."

I understand the films completely (Both are related to socialist terrorism in the 1970's) and I could quite easily write an essay comparing the two. However I know that to get a good grade I have to write in response to the question, which I quite simply don't understand.

If anyone could help me make sense of what is meant by 'historiographical processes' (I already tried googling it), or how a film 'engages in political processes' I would be so so grateful!

    Thanks!

Just as a guess but I would say the question is asking you to discuss how the film presents historical and political significance and how the film depicts these events?
