    Jordanstown- Accommodation
What's the story with accommodation in Jordanstown? Is it mainly on-campus/halls type arrangement or is there any decent private houses nearby?

There's not a whole pile going on around Jordanstown. You'd probably be better off staying in Belfast and getting the free bus everyday, thats what most people do. Otherwise you would spend a fortune on taxis etc.., as everything you would want (including pubs...) you have to go in for.

I'm going to be living in Belfast and travelling to Jordanstown, seemed like the best thing to do.

Didn't know there was a free bus though? Any where I can get some info on that?

Is it a case of finding private accomodation in Belfast then? or do the UU campus there offer something?

Yeah a mate of mine went there a few years back, he said he jumped on the bus outside Queen's University and it brought him straight to Jordanstown. Not sure where you would find the info, i'm sure it would tell you something on the UU website.

Yeah UU do offer halls and that around Jordanstown, if that's what you want. Just saying if you go out much, or do much shopping etc... then it would probably be a good idea to live in Belfast, as there is pretty much nothing out at Jordanstown and everyone heads into Belfast anyways. It's up to yourself really what you want.

I meant the Belfast campus rather than Jordanstown. Do they have anything, oor is it all private?

No they don't offer accommodation in Belfast, you'll have to look private if you want to stay there. Think it's about 6 mile from Belfast to Jordanstown.
