Correct me if I'm wrong anywhere as I'm still figuring out how the system works

So, the more reputation points someone has, the more effect their negative or positive repping affects your reputation (I think)

What happens if someone with 5 red gems reps you?

Edit: Ah, just found the guide. Question answered

Anyone with negative reputation has zero rep 'power'. Generally, a member's rep 'power' corresponds to the number of green 'gems' that they have (once they've met a few other conditions, related to their length of membership and number of posts).
