damn i put dirigidos and otras i think can anyone remember the sentences?!
I can't remember the one for dirigir, but the otro one was followed by 'temas' which is masc. and plural so it was 'otros'. Only worth one mark though..

What did everyone put for the VFN section on the part about her friend having more luck in life and the one about her having more qualifications?
    I put 'N' for both
Also can you remember what letters you put for the reading question about 'Patitio' or however you spell that name?

Does anyone know what the raw marks were for an A last year?

And how did you all study for the oral I've got mine tomorrow ?

The paper I thought was alright, I liked the reading, since there was that question about the road that they showed on the Top Gear haha! But the listening was terrible I got the jist of things it's just distinguishing whether it was Falso or No se mencionan were the problemos. Did anyone do the cinema essay as well?

For the June 2011 paper, I think you needed 86 marks to get an A.
I just revised vocabulary and some grammatical structures. Don't worry though, it's honestly not as bad as you think it will be! Good luck!
I did the Technology essay, but I know a couple of people from my class chose the cinema one and thought it was okay...

It followed 'ha', and in perfect tense past participle is always masculine... I put 'roto'.

The one for dirigir was dirigida i think because the noun was feminine.
think an A is around 112/140 UMS so around mid 80s raw probably.
For the Pepito question cannot really remember what i got but some random letters i remember were: C, H, M....

On the VFN I put N for both that said one had more quals and one was more lucky (she said that one was intelligent and the other had babies and kids or something, both imply possibly luck and intelligence but neither were mentioned exactly as qualifications or family)

As for the grammar, I put llames because the person was asking if the person WANTS the parents to help them, in which case, surely if the person wants the parents to help them there is uncertainty that the parents would help them and so it's subjunctive? I'm probably wrong, I don't understand the subjunctive.

I didn't know what the hell cabaz was. I put bajando, llames, greses, otros (temas is masculine), roto (was that one i can't remember?) uhh what were the others I don't know.

My essay was 2 pages long but I think very poor - I chose technology which was the easiest for me to write about and I could have written loads but I just flunked it to be honest.

Now the long old wait until August............

I couldn't figure out where it was C or B and I can't remember which one I put in the end.

1 was that the programme had been aired several times and
the other was that the programme was aired in several different countries but i think this said was Filmed in several different countries so I put the letter that corresponded to it having been aired several times - is this right?????

did anyone find the film reading exercise really hard? Answers?
I actually think that was one of my best questions!

I remember the one that mentioned Charlie Chaplin was Cine Mudo, obviously silent films as it mentioned body language and Charlie Chaplin was a silent film actor.

The one that mentioned causing fear or disgust was, I think, Cine de terror, or it was called something like that anyway.

For the one that mentioned using high tech gadgets and stuff I put Cine de espionaje, ie. espionage/spies/James Bond etc.

I remember answering Sci-fi for one but I can't remember what the clue in the box was for that one... EDIT: It mentioned other planets or something?

I can't really remember what the other options were, except I know I didn't put biographies, erotic films or whatever the option at the top was cause I didn't understand that one but the answers I put seemed to make sense without it so I don't think it mattered haha.

    Hope this has helped

Guys i did the technology question and i think it went ok. I wrote about 850 words and basically my structure was : intro - paragraph on risks/dangers paragraph on positives/benefits conclusion. is that the kind of thing it expected me to write? And also the 'patito' question was BS! I lived in spain for years and i understood it word for word but i could not work out all 7! i guessed the last one or two. i hate questions like that though to be fair :/

i thought on the listening the one about her friend having more luck in life was FALSE because it said they both have families, both have goods jobs etc... i.e. neither one of them was particularly better off but im guessing im wrong on this one?

I put the same as you on this question I actually quite liked it, I am so happy about the silent film one, I knew it was describing silent films but I didn't know the word for it! Mudo just stood out, also I found the question on those two friends quite difficult, I wasn't too sure on the last couple of questions and didn't have time to check back.

I did the technology one too, I started off by saying that the danger of new technology is a popular topic then listed a few 'new' technologies such as an iPad, smart phones etc. I then did the dangers of the internet in the first paragraph, then in the second mentioned a few benefits such as educational sites. I also said that there are anti virus softwares available to protect kids from popups etc (don't really know if this is relevant) and then said that parents can block sites and limit the time their child spends on the internet. I then did a simple conclusion I got in quite a few subjunctives and did imp. subjunctive and so I'm hoping I did ok!

oh spanish... i thought the listening was okay and the reading was alright, not as bad as some of the past papers but my grammar was horrible, i was prepared for a lot worse and so i mucked up big time but ah well.
i really liked the essay questions, i chose the one about films - my structure went out the window because i just wanted to write! i really hope i did okay because my oral didn't go so well
