I need suggestion, which accomodation i should choose?
First of all I am new in the forum, just registered. I registered because I read many useful threads which lead to useful forum and may I get my questions answered here.

I am going to study Msc Railway systems Engineering and Integration in September 2012 and before that pre-sessional course for 10 weeks.

I want to know which accom suitable for me means closer to Civil engineering department, library and Uni centre. Lazy to walk more than 5 mins

And in terms of money, which is cheaper and better the Uni accom or living outside Uni?

    Thank you in advance.

If your main concern is distance from the Uni centre, look at Jarret Hall. Apparently it's closer than The Vale.

Victoria Hall is even closer than Jarrett! My lectures were in Poynting and I would leave my room at 8.45 for a 9am lecture and sometimes have 5 mins to spare. I'm pretty sure engineering buildings are even closer so you could leave even later!

I lived off campus in Opal 1 this year and although it's a long way from the uni it's actually quicker to get there on the bus than it is to walk to the vale. But yeah in terms of distance Jarratt Hall is closest though I've heard the social life there isn't exactly amazing.
