Lacrosse was actually something I really wanted to get involved in, I know you say most people hadn't tried it before, but I've never actually played any sport more than in PE lessons - do you usually just get sporty people joining in or will there be plenty of people like me just wanting to give something new a go?

Re: The best thing to do as a fresher...Megan, I had never been in a team at school before either... literally just done PE and now I'm the club captain! You dont need to be sporty... we have 2 taster sessions at the beginning of the year which will be advertised at the Sports Fair (and I can post them on here if its helpful). Just turn up to those, bring some friends and give it a go. I'm sure you'll love it!! And people tend to pick it up relatively quicker
