    Struggle looking for points
I'm with OCR doing English Literature and I have three Lit exams in the next month. I have A View from the Bridge, Of Mice and Men, and Jekyll and Hyde/Seamus Heaney poetry. What I struggle with is finding points to write about, especially in AVFTB, OMAM and J&H.

Does anybody have any methods they use for finding points? I always do the extract questions by the way, and try to annotate on them and make a short plan before I start writing, but I can only ever find a maximum of two points! Sometimes I end up just writing a load of crap for my third or fourth points because I know I need to write more but have nothing to write about.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

It's been a while since you posted and nobody's replied yet...maybe you should check out MarkedbyTeachers.com, TSR's sister site. It has the largest library of essays in the UK.

They've got over 181,000+ coursework, essays, homeworks etc.. all written by GCSE, A Level, University and IB students across all topics. You get access either by publishing some of your own work, or paying £4.99 for a month's access. Both ways give you unlimited access to all of the essays.

All their documents are submitted to Turnitin anti-plagiarism software, so it can't be misused, and the site's used by hundreds of thousands of UK teachers and students.

What's more, you can take a look around the site and preview the work absolutely free. Click here to find out more...

You just have to know the texts as well as you can and then discuss them with your peers and stuff. The more you talk about it, the more you develop your own ideas but also the more arguments you can throw in. Reference: General Lit experience.
