Re: Who would you rather won the Premier League?Read my post again. Man U have plenty of Mancunian fans, but they are in the minority.(Original post by knoxuk)
That's just a fabrication that's been going on for years - there are plenty of mancs who support united. You're more likely to find city fans in Stockport or Tameside - well away from the city of Manchester itself. -
Re: Who would you rather won the Premier League? That's not true either.(Original post by detinus)

Re: Who would you rather won the Premier League?I think he means Mancunian fans are the minority of Man United fans which is definitely true considering Man Utd have about 200 million fans.(Original post by DaveSmith99)

Re: Who would you rather won the Premier League?
City. You can't blame them for buying players that are going for the league if they've got the cash at their disposal. What were you expecting them to do, say 'Thanks for the offer of many millions, but we'll stick with picking up players on Bosmans.'
Hardly. -
Re: Who would you rather won the Premier League?I took it as him saying that there are more City fans in Manchester than there are United fans in Manchester? Could be wrong though.(Original post by AkaJetson)
I think he means Mancunian fans are the minority of Man United fans which is definitely true considering Man Utd have about 100 million fans. -
Re: Who would you rather won the Premier League? And how did United buy Ronaldo, Rooney, Nani, SMith, Evra, Vidic, Nani, Anderson, Berbatov, Tevez, Valencia, Young etc...(Original post by Cyanohydrin)
United. They were nothing before some rich Arab dude came along. He chucked his billions into the team and it actually paid off. That is the most infuriating part. They proved you can buy success, the club buying every player they see is pathetic. A team needs to grow, not be thrown together.
Man United have done exactly the same thing, just over a longer period of time. -
Re: Who would you rather won the Premier League?Through money earned from being a successful football club. Yes we have spent money on players, but we have also produced a lot of our own players, something which city aren't doing.(Original post by TopG)

Re: Who would you rather won the Premier League?Afraid thats wrong tbh.(Original post by Miryo)
Shut up. United have bought their success too. United's starting XI was worth more than city's. United cannot say city don't deserve it because they bought the title.
Dont know where this nonsense is coming from and why random people keep spouting it when its wrong. -
Re: Who would you rather won the Premier League?Could say the same thing about United in Salford/Bolton/Bury to be honest. Plenty of both sides in Manchester itself.(Original post by knoxuk)

Re: Who would you rather won the Premier League?
I couldn't care less who wins it, although I'd rather see Man U take it. The Premier League title has been irrelevant now for about a decade. It's almost decided before the season even starts. Why bother playing a competition of 38 games at all? Just auction the trophy every July and be done with it. Man City can pay £200 million for it every year to keep it. The race for 4th and relegation battle are the only things keeping the league interesting. Thank **** that "big 4" never lasted.

If you don't like clubs for this you are never going to like anybody in the top 5. City have got loads of glory supporters in far reaches since the money started rolling in - just as would happen for any other club -

'In an entirely unscientific exercise, and just for a bit of fun ahead of the big match, we invited supporters on our website to say which team they supported and then indicate the area they live in. A total of 2,163 United fans contributed to the study, along with 1,175 City fans.'
