15 days until the Eurovision final.

What are your thoughts on our song?

It's different from what the UK tends to go for.. but do you think we stand a chance of winning?

It's not that bad Well, it's better then some of the acts we've had previously. Although, I would have a hard rock element to this.

    Oh Lordi!

As the votes are politically based the changes of winning are about 0%.

    No they're not.

You're from Canada, so I don't expect you to understand though.

    Well to correct you.

50% of the votes are made by an independant jury to stamp out the political aspect. Therefore there's more chance than 0%. Especially since the UK has the second highest win-count.

I think it's all right, not amazing, but it'll do. Englebert is popular in Europe so that might give us a chance.

This. Even if we resurrected John Bonham and entered Led Zeppelin into the contest and we still wouldnt win.

It could be worse. At least this year I won't be hiding under a cushion. Uh, some of our entries are extremely cringe-worthy. Despite this, I love Eurovision :/

I'm going to stick with Englebert on this one. It's repetitive and a bit dull but there's something about it which makes me think he'll do quite well.

Embarrasing to admit but we couldn't win with a black artist (even with a good song) The eastern europeans are totally racist. Forget about winning, it's just an opportunity to laugh at all the corrupt bloc voting going on really.... Work out who's most sacred of the russians this year

How the hell could you bring race into this? lol
Anyway, Ukraine's sending a black artist this year. So much for 'we're so racist we'd never vote for a black person', eh?

Not sure about it and Eurovision is political, the Balkans voting for each other etc. We get an automatic place in the final along with 4 others because we pay a lot into the EBU

Don't really like it but I think it's a safe option and will earn us some points, at least. Everyone always says "oh, we always come last!" but we've only come last three times and we've placed fifth and eleventh in recent years, which is decent. When we try and send a serious entry, we don't fare too badly.

well lets see how their neighbour like him. Imo the russians have ordered them to chuck it this year.
Anyway englebert's alright... The song sounds like it's been machine translated without due regard for the correct number of syllabels needed to make it scan tho.
