Ah sounds cool ) how long does it take to receive your student ID? Really excited as well, just raring to go. Waiting till after results day to see what happens, as I have not yet sent off my form. Did you get sent your housing contract from Calico? Doing Media Production. Excited to hear from other potential roomies now. Did you go to 6th form or college? Where about's are you from? So nervous for results day, just hope I've got the grades I need to be accepted on the course and to meet you of course how you feeling? Where are you going to open your results? You going straight into school or you going to check on track first, then go in collect results. I'm in room 3 so we will be next door, how cool is that? What's your insurance choice? xxx

Yes I'm extremely excited. I got my card through like 2 weeks ago. Didn't take long at all to sort out. I didn't do a levels in college, I took an extended diploma which is the equivalent of 3 a levels. Cause of that iv already got my results and finished my confirmation at the uni. I didn't really have an insurance offer but that's because I knew I'd get the place. The lecturers il be having through uni are the same teachers I had for the last 2 years in college. So I kinda had a foot in the door what with knowing them, and also going to Burnley College on the UCLan campus. I got my contract about a month ago and signed it all off so I'm just ready to move in now. Iv started buying all my uni stuff for my room, an have already received information about enrolment and even my first piece of work that's got to be completed before my first tutorial. You'll have to add me on Facebook, as you'll be knowing me for at least the next 2 years.

Me too ) ah that's alright then. How long does it take for your student ID to come? Oh cool. Where did you do that? Yeah that's fair enough if you knew that you would get a confirmed place. Oh least you know the lecturers, so you will feel less overwhelmed. Nice what's the piece of work you have to complete for enrolment? Yeah I will, as I will be knowing you for two years. Ooh what essentials have you bought so far? Going to start getting all mine once I find out my results. My 6th form has changed the time we can go in to collect them, so know we can go in from 7:30-9:00, suppose it makes sense as then we get to make the calls we need to and sort out arrangements based on our results. So excited, looking forward to living it up in Fresher's Week. Added you on Facebook ) here's my addie: http://www.facebook.com/yasmin.knowles
Oh by the way, what date does your course start? Mine's on the 17th, that is rather early, think all the Media-related courses start a lot earlier than the other ones. Hope to find a boyfriend there as well, all the guys where I live aren't really lookers -.- the last relationship, well the only relationship I had lasted 3 months, and he turned out to be a complete douche. What's Burnley college like? Think uni will be the making of me to be honest being able to be independent and fending on my own away from the comfort of home. So awesome that I will be having my 20th at uni, will feel weird as this will be the first birthday I have celebrated away from home, but will be fine when I'm out with my housemates of course god I'm getting old ha ha XD. Have you just turned 19 or you one of the older ones?

I'm 20 in may so yeah I'm one of the older ones. The lads in burnley? ... You might wanna give it sometime they're extremely northern and proud lol. Iv literally bought everything for my room now so I'm so excited. Went to see the house the other day, it's literally a stone throw away from the uni. I already have a boyfriend, he's going to the same uni, just different course. I already have a part time job too, I'm transferrin to the burnley Wetherspoons so il be working a few late shifts ( so sorry about the noise in advance haha) oh I'm so glad iv found some I'm sharing with! I believe there's another girl called Georgia living with us so at this rate it could be all girls. Freshers is a little crap in burnley sometimes so I may head over to Preston you'll have to come as its only like 40 min on the train! Xxx

Hey, my friend did this in her first year of Psychology, going to Burnley, she lived on the main Campus thought and got a bus pass and got the bus every day from the bus station (: So you could live in the Uni accommodation if you wanted?

This means you will be closer to the city centre and everything else (:
