    Role of pancreatic amylase?
I am assuming that the role of pancreatic amylase is to hydrolyse any starch into maltose that was not previously done so by salivary amylase? is this correct? thanks

    yep you are correct

ETA might be worth mentioning in the exam that any salivary amylase entering the stomach with the starch will be denatured hence why the pancreatic amylase has to take over.
