Well it can't hurt to maybe read a bit around the subjects, like I said up to you. As in medical related experiences like volunteering at hospitals, surgeries, care homes etc. Oh also should be building up your extra curriculars as well. Medicine is literally about the whole package not just the grades. No idea about my summer, haven't thought that far. All that's on my mind right now is Chemistry.

Biology, Chemistry and Geography are all AQA. Not too sure about economics (I think edexcel just a guess though)

Damn I've got the OCR books lol. Could I still use them, or better to get the AQA?

Definitely get the AQA books because some of the content you learn in AQA is not in the OCR sylabus or there are present in different units.
