What km/hour on the trendmill do people run at the gym?
I am a guy and run from 8km/hour-12km/hour. I think it's pretty slow, considering running 5km at 15km/hour is around 20 minutes.

I usually run at 10.5km/hour for around 1km.

When I do HIIT, I go up to 15km/hour, but I don't run at that speed for very long.

I was wondering what km/hour and for how long people run for?

Also, I find that the higher the speed I run at, the less distance I can covered. I tried doing 15km/hour once, and can only manage 400 metres. Is this the same with you?

Do people find that the slower the speed they at, the longer the distance they covered?

naturally. that occurs. just look at 100m runners...they sacrifice endurance for speed.

You do realise that would mean you run 10k in 24 minutes, which, funnily enough is over two minutes faster than the current world record.

    I'm impressed!

I don't do cardio, but when I do I run between 10-12Kmh for as long as I want.

    Depends.

If I am chosing the speed interval program I will have it on 9.8 for the jog and 11.5 for the run. The last 3 minutes I try to belt out at 13-13.5. Usually do that no more than 25 minutes.

If I am wanting to do a steady long distance run then 10.2. Usually for this I will be running 10-15k

I always have the incline on 1 though also.

Anywhere from 12-15km/h depending on how far/long I'm running for.

I don't really focus on speed, I use my pulse/heart rate instead. I try to average 75% of my Maximum Heart Rate which is around 160 bpm

I'll do my treadmill 'sprints' with the thing maxed out which is around the 22km/h mark. Short work periods though (around 20s).

I'll do my low intensity interval training at around 16km/h mark for 10 repetitions of 30s on 30s off.

You don't have to run at a constant speed to see results from a treadmill.

That would be a world record.
