I got my email a while ago. I don't know which department I'm in and I'm waiting for the extra info. This is going to be amazing! We get to see a West End show and everything!

Okay so here a question for everyone who got accepted.... Did u get an email saying to fill in a form so they could buy train tickets? and on that same email they said they would start sending out loads of forms and stuff but I haven't received any further information...has any1 received more info after the acceptance email???

Yes, got one arranging travel arrangements as well as the one regarding security clearance for whitehall yesterday afternoon. Thats it so far

I think we get our train tickets in our internship packs which we'll probz get in a week or something.. And I wasn't too surprised about the business attire, although its very different to what I'm used to lol.. what do you think about it? Is it formal wear in the evening as well do you think?

Hey Im going to the other internship. I was wondering about this aswell. The email said business attire but for the other activities such as university visits and cinema trips do they still want us to be dressed in business attire.

Oo well I emailed someone about that and they said that smart casual is okay for evenings apparently, if thats any help

So does this include jeans then?... smart casual can mean business clothes but can also mean jeans and a smart top...still confused might just be blunt and ask someone if we're allowed jeans or not...

It can be interpreted like that because that's what I thought ... Yeeah, might as well ask, there's no harm, and at least it'll be made clear then!

Okay i just emailed saying...'can we wear jeans and more casual clothes outside the office' and she replied with ' casual clothes are fine' she hasn't said smart casual so i guess jeans, t-shirts and whatever we wear day to day is fine. Bear in mind I'm goin to the investment banking internship not the whitehall one so u guys may wanna check with someone aswell...if you're doing the same activities outside (cinema, theatre, london eye) then they probably will have the same guidelines...hope this helps everyone... Oh and she also said we'll get more info with the welcome pack which will be issued at some point this week...so it will be even clearer by then
