Level 3 diploma in CACHE Year 1
I am doing the Level 3 diploma in CACHE Year 1

    Hi,
I have done AS levels and gained a DDEEE in english lit, sociology, psychology, philosophy and economics.
I am currently doing the Level 3 diploma in Child Care and Education in Year 1 and I was wondering if anyone knows if I can go to Uni to do Primary Ed after completing the diploma and also using the UMS points gained from my As levels.
    Thanks x

Im doing the diploma too from what I've seen on some Uni EPs they will state you can either have 3 a levels or a specific grade at the cache diploma (usually c or b depending on the uni and course) but some just put the amount of ucas points required from a-levels or equivalant (probably 240-280 for primary ed which is equivalant to a C) in this case you should probably contact them to confirm weather or not they accept cache level 3s cause some don't. Others may require you to have an A2 or AS in a specific subject (usually a science or academic based). The majority or universities will offer you a place though with just the CACHE diploma at level 3 as long as you have GSCE maths, enlglish and science at c or above. Good Luck
