    Yeah depends on your household income though. They have stopped giving out the local bursaries though.

    You can only receive a bursary if you have started your course before September 2012.

    if you are starting in October 2012, then you cannot receive a bursary. Instead they are offering scholarships providing you have a household income of £30,000 per year or less. This is in the form of a tuition fee reduction. You will not see any of the money.

    Nooooo I thought that was just for a band 4 bursary? There are very few courses that start before September

    I know that the new scholarships exclude people if they are coming from Wales due to them paying lower fees (because of subsidises by The Welsh Government).

    i know, at the time we are going to need the money to stay alive!

    i just dont like how they are introducing this now and theres nothing we can do about it.
