We got company accounts, ratios, cash flows, budgeting, break-even, marginal and absorption costing.....

So when is your paper?

ah, i have only got unit 4 left and it is on 18th june and its all to do with management accounting, i.e. budgeting, break even costing etc

I am doing edexcel accounting unit 2 as well. Do you have any notes to study from or you just solve past papers? I am asking cz I really need some notes cz my teacher's notes suck

I don't really use notes, because this is almost completely a mathematical subject and there is nothing much to "study".
If you know how to tackle the sums, then try the pastpapers and whatever is there to "write" is given in the markschemes and they tend to repeat these questions.

for the written questions just look at the mark schemes, learn the advantages and disadvantages.
my unit 4 exam is 2 hours long.

Yeah, in Edexcel we need to not just write about advantages and disadvantages (which I am assuming you have to) but also evaluate stuff like profitability and liquidity, how to treat goodwill in books, etc...
You are lucky, we have a three hour long paper AND about an hour later I have another paper (Econ unit 3)

yh i have to do that aswell assess profitability and liquidity (in unit 2 and 3), concepts, definitions of key words e.g. variance, direct costs fixed costs .

Hmm this is much similar to Edexcel, except in number of units and some other stuff.

Edexcel also gives you choice in both section A and section B unlike AQA's compulsory four questions

Seems like it...Im making alot of notes, ill hopefully be done with it a week before. Itll consist of a theory study from past papers and revision notes. Ill post it here if I get done with it

Does anyone have the proper IAS format we should follow in Edexcel? I tried looking, but they were vague or wasn't the exact thing Edexcel wants? Maybe even what you learnt in school?

Looking for the statement of comprehensive income and financial position according to IAS1. They are not in the IGCSE syllabus above.
