Haha I answered "sex" for the first listening question, implying coitus, but they have to give me the mark since it's synonymous with gender.

Hahaha. That's what I did until I hastily added "of the person" to the end.

That said, I thought the listening was quite tough?

I did a double take there; I thought they were saying people who have more sex are thinner 'cause of the exercise....

Put "gender" in the end, to clarify...

What would you like to know? On computer now so don't mind helping you out xx
Could you upload the question and answer for question nine please? As in the sentence, with the correct conjugation highlighted in bold or something? I feel so demanding but it would be a great help! This was my last chance you sit (third time sitting it) and I neeeeeed an A for uni, so I'm looking for reassurance haha

What points did people make for the concubinage question? I'm worried that I focused too much on the idea of living together as opposed to marriage, rather than living together BEFORE marriage...

No, it won't which topic are you going to do your essay on? We were told to just pick one of our two and totally focus on that by the chief examiner guy but I didn't really have a choice as I was told the day before my speaking exam that my region (madagascar) was risky So now I have to do Baudelaire's poetry and apparently you can only get top marks by learning quotations

Have you applied to do French at uni next year?

Aw I've been meaning to read that, is it good? Haha, I've applied for English lit and French joint honours; I have my heart set on Leeds so have to get AAB (with the As in those two subjects)

I seem to either nail the essay or totally mess up but I'm not sure whether I trust my teacher's marking cause she basically goes by how interesting she finds it hahaha

I think you would get away with putting education unless they were feeling really tight, but I doubt they'd accept 'lack of education', because otherwise they would have said 'manque d'education' and not 'niveau'...
Woops, I put 'level of education', sorry that was a mistype! But I mean would it be enough just to say 'gender' or would you have to specify which gender it was?

Oooh same course as me for Uni! You must have been at the JH Applicant Visit Day for Leeds as well? Coincidence or what?! Haha.

I debated between Leeds and Nottingham as my firm choice (tough decision) but went for Notts in the end.

Anyway, I need an AAB for Nottingham as well in Lit and French - it's such a tall order!

Hhaha, probably I swear you're the first person I've spoken to that's doing the same course, outside of open days haha. For saying it's so tough to get in, there don't seem to be billions of applicants fighting for the places :P

Yeh, our offer is hard because I KNOW that if I work I can get AAB, it's just whether I'll get the A in French or the A in economics (my third subject). Anyways, my insurance is Sheffield, which offers the same grades (AAB) but so much more flexibility - get the grades in any order, and it includes general studies, which is rare! What's your insurance choice?

Same actually haha! Good to be unique though

Ah, it's good that your insurance is so flexible. Mine is Birmingham and they want ABB with A in Engish Lit and the B's in French and History, so really don't have that much room to drop marks

How would the verb "to repair" link in to it occuring more in women? :lolwut:
it doesn't mean to repair, it's todo with how it's spread out.. it said something like "it's not spread out evenly, for example women are more prone to blah blah blah"
    hope that makes sense

repartir means to divide, so repartir entre i guess can be thought of as distributed among?

Was it right to say that for the technology question.. i said that youngsters are influenced by a lot by their peers, want to show off, peer pressure, and celebrities i dont knoiw if this is right.. that they want to follow them.. ;ss dunno if is right x
I think that is more publicity tbh :/ although I did talk about how technology allows us to easily access images e.g. thinspo so people are at a higher risk of getting eating disorders due to the publicity on the internet and whatnot :/
As long as you got your tense right you should be okay
