I only really buy newspapers when I'm travelling or have nothing to do, or as a french student if I'm bored and fancy doing translation. I generally prefer reading online as it is more up-to-date. I occasionally read The Daily Echo too (my local newspaper) when I'm home or I just glance at it online at uni, because I am still interested in what's going on in my home area.

The Guardian and the Independent mainly.

I go out of my way to avoid the garbage in the red-tops, the Daily Heil and the Torygraph's political bias is not something I could read and the Express irritates me - Diana's dead, get the **** over it. Oh, and the Times is owned by Rupert Murdoch, and there's no way he's seeing one penny from my wallet.
You go out of your way to avoid the political bias of the daily telegraph?
You do realise you read the Guardian? One of the most obviously politically biased newspapers around.

However it's also got some lovely science articles, and as I only read it online (I buy the independent) I tend not to have any politics from the Guardian.

TSR, what is your favourite daily Newspaper?

These will be Nation-Wide papers not local ones.

Also includes sister papers such as the Independent's "the I" paper
The Daily Mirror is read by people who think they run the country.
The Guardian is read by people who think they ought to run the country
The Times is read by people who actually do run the country.
The Daily Mail is read by the wives of the people who run the country.
The Financial Times is read by people who own the country.
The Daily Telegraph is read by people who think the country ought to be run by another country.
Readers of The Sun don't care who runs the country, as long as she's got big ****!
    Personally, I read the latter!

The hypocrisy is strong in this comment.

Sorry if you got offended but I can't find any article in the metro worth reading. There is not much exposure to positive articles nor any interesting/knowledgeable article. And I don't read sun it was just a joke. LOL ....
I read Guardian or Independent. Cheers mate.

Wha? I wasn't offended, not read the metro in about a year. I just wondered how anyone could read the sun and say something else wasn't worthy of being called a paper.

The quality of the I for 20p is excellent.

Although it ahs to be The Guardian, yes it is politically bias, but at least they get their statistics right with charts which go down to 0 and are not 3d.
