Most guys must have experienced or heard about protein shakes causing bowel problems lol. Mainly just horrific smelling farts etc. Is there any other supplements I can take to counter this problem?

For those who haven't heard this don't let it put you off shakes it doesn't happen to all of us, i'm just an unfortunate one lol

Probiotics may help and you might just be taking too much protein in addition to your food. Excess protein = super farts.

Want big muscles? Gonna have to hold in some big farts. No two ways about it

Actually you can try charcoal tablets but you may bloat

They don't always have that effect. Depends on the person taking them...

    Drink more water

Protein is hydrolysed by water and gasses in your body dissolve in water as well. An increase in protein consumption means there is less water for gasses to dissolve therefore an increase in the aforementioned 'farts'. Farts so bad they could be weaponised.
