Hey all,

I was wondering what mark do I need to get in my OCR G061 exam to get an A overall. I currently have a mid A in my coursework which is 40% of the final grade for AS.

So what percentage would I need in my exam, if you could please be specific, such as percentage and raw marks.

Isnt it like 80/120 to get an A? would a mark of 65-70 (B) be sufficient enough for an A overall?

No, I think your lookin more for 90 marks. Because:

G061 + G062 = 200 Marks

If you have around a mid A then thats around 70 marks

To get an A overall you need to hit around 160 marks

Therefore you need 90/120 marks in the exam.

Thats good for you though, I need around 100 in mine. Seeing as I THINK I was just off an A in G062

So i need 90/120 raw marks on the exam? Wow that is quite a lot, its like trying to get an A* especially with everyone saying how difficult the exam is...
