change
I think change is a really hard thing to come to terms with. I'm really anxious about leaving school, and moving onto a different six-form. I know most people get excited about moving on in life, being a step closer to their ambitions but I really don't feel that way. I feel that I'm going to be alone and that everyone that once meant everything to me is no longer going to be there. I don't know how to explain it. It's just, I've had such a close bond with my teachers and I guess I find it hard to move on.
How'd do you get use to change?
p.s- I also want to do something for a teacher of mine who has helped me through alot , any idea's on what I can do for her?
I was thinking a poem or something? idk. -
Re: change
Life is a journey and moving on and meeting new people is part of that journey. BUT moving on doesn't mean you must forget your past experiences, cherish those memories and remmeber the lessons learnt from those who have 'helped you through alot'.
The first step towards sucess us taken when you refuse to be a captive of the enviroment which you first find yourself. -
Re: changeBut I don't want things to become apart of my past, I want to take them with me, not in my heart but in my world. I just don't see the purpose of success, or even life(Original post by PeterOkenla11)

Re: change
I went to a 3 tier system so i was used to changing schools and wasnt at one for longer than 4 years. Teen years are hard and you're becoming an adult. A lot is happening to you and big changes are apart of that unfortunately. Just remember that just because you're ending that part of your life, that doesn't mean you should forget it. You can keep in touch with people.

Re: changeI used to be like that too. I was depressed because i didn't care about what everyone else did. Sucess and wealth being a couple of them. But you know what there are very few people who feel that way. Yeah life too, at the end of the day were all going to die, right?(Original post by Game0ver)

But there is one thing i do care about. I realised that life was bigger than the world i lived in and the people around me. Thats why i gave you that qoute hoping it would inspire you to take a step forward.
My goal in life is to make the lives of other people better. You cannot live in the past im afriad niether can you take it with you (thats why its the past), You can only take the memories with you and what you've learnt!
Your past experiences are UNIQUE to you and can shape the future.
If you are still confused then perhaps a quote from Thomas Jefferson will offer you guidence
'Do you want to know who you are? Dont ask. Act! Actions will delineate and define you.' -
Re: changeI guess I'm just looking at things in a negative way.(Original post by PeterOkenla11)
