Re: Great last minute revision tips
I have lots to do in so little time, I'm creating early study leave for myself so I can stay at home and revise instead of aimlessly attending classes which teach me nothing. I'd say to basically do quality revision; lots of notes. Write out what you want to learn tons of times and basically repeat it over and over. Repetition is the best way of revising. Use bright colours/markers for writing key info so it'll stand out in your mind. Practise papers work WONDERS when time is tight; basically learn off mark schemes. You can go into the exam and regurgitate a lot of it. Read out loud = best revision strategy. Pretend you're teaching a class while going through the specification, it is effective. Good luck, I hope you don't flunk your AS.

I'm not so great at the notes with lots of colours thing - I'm slow and there are rice puddings with better presentation than me, but thanks, I'll do the past papers and teaching

Re: Great last minute revision tips
i don't personally see much merit in repetition, it won't work if you don't understand a concept.
doing practice questions and past exams under exam conditions helps me heaps, as it enables you to see exactly what you do and don't know, and consolidate the areas you aren't so good in.
mind maps and diagrams are always a winner, and surprisingly, so is visualisation.
