    "I always like to drill down to the facts of the matter."

    "Flossing over my shadowing experience..."

    "I've always found the state of the NHS deeply unnerving."

    "I strongly believe that word of mouth is the key to positive recommendations."

    "I would fight tooth and nail to secure a dentistry place."

    "I've had experience of dentistry when I was filling in for the receptionist at my local practise."

    "Unlike many other professions, dentistry isn't the same grind day after day."

    Any of those would probably lose you a place.

    I'm really tempted to include one of them. maybe the admissions tutor will see the funny side.

    not a potential applicant, but dont put in the dentist song from little shop of horrors...
